Position Overview The ICAT Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Information, Communications and Automation Technology (ICAT) projects across healthcare, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mission-critical environments. This role leads the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of communications and network infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, fibre optics, wireless systems, DAS, and enterprise network deployments. The ICAT Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards and client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of communications infrastructure and technology systems integration. Key Responsibilities Manage ICAT projects from pre-construction through closeout. Lead deployment of structured cabling, fibre optic, wireless, and communications infrastructure systems. Coordinate enterprise network installations, MDF/IDF buildouts, equipment deployments, and network migrations. Manage DAS and cellular enhancement system implementations. Coordinate carrier services, service-provider requirements, and network cutovers. Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, labour, procurement, and subcontractors. Work closely with clients, IT departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful implementation. Support commissioning, testing, certification, and turnover activities. Ensure compliance with TIA, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, CSA, and applicable industry standards.
