Job details
Circuit Design Expert Position: Circuit Design Expert Type: Contractor Compensation: $80–$150/hour Location: Global, Fully Remote About the Opportunity We are seeking highly skilled Circuit Design Experts to support an AI training project focused on electronic hardware, circuit simulation, programmatic EDA workflows, verification, and Python. You’ll work on coding-heavy engineering tasks across analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, and RF circuits, translating electrical requirements into computational designs and validating circuit performance. This is a coding-heavy role. Experience using coding agents with Python in your workflow is required. Key Responsibilities Design, analyze, and validate analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits. Translate electrical requirements into schematics, netlists, models, HDL, constraints, and simulation inputs. Run circuit simulation, synthesis, and verification workflows using CLI-accessible tools. Use Python and coding agents to generate inputs, automate simulations, run parameter sweeps, and analyze results. Review circuit outputs and determine whether designs satisfy electrical and functional constraints. Required Qualifications MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; or BS in Electrical Engineering with 1–2+ years of relevant circuit-design experience. Meaningful experience designing analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits. Experience with designs that have been fabricated, integrated, shipped, or taped out. Practical proficiency with Python and coding agents. Experience with programmatic EDA tools such as ngspice, Xyce, Yosys, Verilator, KiCad scripting, SPICE-compatible simulators, HDL simulators, or equivalent CLI-accessible tools. Familiarity with Python tools such as PySpice, NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, cocotb, instrument-control libraries, or EDA APIs. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing automated circuit simulation, verification, or testing workflows. Strong background in programmatic EDA, circuit modeling, parameter sweeps, or hardware automation. Compensation Output-based compensation of $80–$150/hour equivalent. Independent contractor engagement. Approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling, including weekends if desired. Minimum submission requirements apply. Approximately 100 positions available. Application Process Submit your application and complete the screening questions. Complete an AI interview of approximately 30 minutes. Complete the hiring manager review. Complete onboarding and begin your first task within 24–48 hours if selected.
