Postdoctoral Research Scientist Location: Remote Engagement Type: Hourly Contract (Part-Time) Compensation: $60–$90/hour About the Opportunity This opportunity is for STEM PhD researchers and postdoctoral scientists interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You will leverage your academic and research experience to evaluate complex scientific and engineering challenges while helping shape the future of AI. Ideal Qualifications • PhD in a STEM discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field. • Strong academic and research background with experience solving complex, research-level problems. • Demonstrated expertise within your area of specialization. • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy. • Ability to work independently and manage research tasks in a remote environment. Responsibilities • Develop high-quality, domain-specific problems based on your academic and research expertise. • Create rigorous reference solutions, technical analyses, and detailed explanations for complex scientific and engineering problems. • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning, completeness, and technical quality. • Identify errors, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve AI-generated outputs. • Collaborate with AI researchers and subject-matter experts to refine technical content and evaluation standards. • Contribute high-quality research data that improves the reasoning, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities of advanced AI models. Project Details • Start Date: Immediate, with rolling applications. • Duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension. • Commitment: 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week. • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous.
