We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a detail-oriented Data Reviewer – LC/MS to support analytical data review and quality assurance activities for one of our key clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of analytical results by reviewing LC/MS data, evaluating chromatographic performance, and collaborating with scientific teams to support timely project deliver y. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILIT IESReview LC/MS datasets daily, with a strong focus on peak integration, peak identification, and outlier detecti on.Evaluate chromatographic data to ensure analytical accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established quality standar ds.Process and review analytical data using softwa re.Investigate data anomalies and recommend appropriate corrective actions where requir ed.Verify, document, and communicate analytical results in accordance with internal quality procedur es.Collaborate with laboratory scientists and cross-functional teams to support timely completion of data review and reporting activiti es.Maintain accurate documentation and records related to data review activiti es.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data review processes, workflows, and best practic es.Support quality assurance initiatives by ensuring the integrity and consistency of analytical resul ts.ABOUT THE REQUIREME NTSMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry with a strong emphasis on LC/MS workflo ws.Demonstrated experience reviewing LC/MS data, including peak integration, peak evaluation, and outlier analys is.Hands-on experience using mass spectrometry platforms and related softwa re.Experience working in high-throughput laboratory environments processing and reviewing large analytical datase ts.Strong understanding of chromatographic principles and mass spectrometry data interpretati on.Knowledge of analytical quality standards and laboratory best practic es.Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and accura cy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skil ls.Excellent communication and collaboration skil ls.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environme nt. PREFERRED QUALIFICAT IONSExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or analytical instrumentation organizati ons.Experience working within regulated laboratory environme nts.Experience supporting continuous improvement and quality assurance initiati ves.Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipl ine. ABOUT THE ROLEThis is a 6-month contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of exten sion.The role will be performed in a hybrid work environment based in the Greater Toronto Area. The expected pay range for this position is CAD $30–32 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
