Context The logistics intern assists the purchasing team with the administrative and operational management of activities related to procurement, logistics, and delivery coordination. Missions/Main Duties Help monitor suppliers and service providers; Assist in updating delivery and tracking information in internal systems; Support the team in planning the requirements for purchased parts to support production activities and spare parts needs; Verify and maintain certain planning data; Contribute to the preparation of reports and the monitoring of certain performance indicators; Participate in the analysis of logistics data to identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement; Support the team in monitoring risks that could affect material flows; Support the preparation and monitoring of logistics activities; Track the delivery status of parts as needed to facilitate communication with internal teams. Profile/Skills Education: Currently pursuing a university degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, operations management, or a related field. Years of experience: No experience required. Initial experience in internships, coordination, customer service, or administrative support is a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; Strong negotiation and contract management skills; Ability to learn how to use ERP systems or procurement tools; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work meticulously and ensure proper tracking of information. Personal Qualities Attention to detail when identifying and ordering parts; Proactivity and a willingness to learn; Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams; Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, in French and English* Reasons for the bilingualism requirement: You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse client base, including both French- and English-speaking companies.
