The Electrical Engineer develops electrical schematics, design instructions, and wiring diagrams for passenger railcars and locomotives. They are responsible for hardware selection, creating installation and testing procedures, and leading design teams through conceptual studies and shop drawings. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, OIQ membership, and at least 15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in electrical diagramming software and knowledge of transportation standards (CSA, IEEE, FRA) are required, along with bilingualism in English and French.
