Overview As a Laborer/Welders helper, you’ll be a key player in our pipeline repair operations. You’ll assist in the manufacturing shop and installation of our specialty product PETROSLEEVE across Canada. Key Responsibilities Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist Welders with daily tasks Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, and product Engage in all forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of fabrication, construction, and installation projects from start to finish Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard May perform other related duties as assigned Experience High school diploma/GED required; Vocational Certification preferred. Experience in energy or oil gas, pipeline, and water & sewage industry a plus, - Mechanical training preferred. Two years of experience disassembling and maintaining mechanical components in a related field preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Travel regularly and stay overnight out of town. Work up to 7 days a week depending on project needs Work in varying weather and environmental conditions Lift and carry moderate loads as part of daily tasks Successfully pass and complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English. Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Class 5 Drivers License (Non-GDL) is a must CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space tickets an asset
