About the Role We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a relationship-driven role focused on retaining, growing, and developing a commercial insurance portfolio. As a trusted advisor to business clients, you will identify coverage needs, deliver tailored insurance solutions, and uncover opportunities to expand accounts through cross-selling and upselling. The ideal candidate is a sales-minded insurance professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving organic growth, and providing exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Develop strong client relationships through proactive communication and ongoing account management. Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities to enhance clients’ insurance programs. Generate new revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and referral opportunities. Present renewal strategies and coverage recommendations to clients. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and insurance solutions tailored to client needs. Remarket accounts as required to ensure competitive terms and coverage. Respond promptly to client and insurer inquiries while maintaining a high level of service. Prepare submissions for new business and renewal opportunities. Quote and onboard new commercial clients, completing applications and required documentation. Issue binders, certificates, and confirmations of coverage as required. Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, billing inquiries, and financing arrangements. Support clients through the claims process, acting as an advocate and trusted resource. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Stay informed on insurance products, market trends, carrier offerings, and industry developments. Collaborate with internal team members to deliver outstanding client experiences. Ensure compliance with brokerage procedures, regulatory requirements, and service standards. Qualifications Valid RIBO Licence required. CAIB or CIP designation (or equivalent) completed or actively pursuing. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong sales aptitude with experience identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value and solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Professional demeanor and commitment to service excellence.
