Tabor Village was built out of love and respect for those who need assistance with living as they age. Our staff, volunteers and supporting churches are committed to both their physical and spiritual well being. We are a "not for profit" Christian Society specializing in care for older adults. Our "Campus of Care" includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Complex Care. Tabor Village is an affiliate of the Fraser Health Authority.

Coordinate and supervise resident care during scheduled shifts, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, wound care, and communication with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Lead and support staff, delegate tasks, maintain infection control and safety practices, and participate in training and continuous quality improvement.

Assist residents with personal, social, physical, spiritual, and recreational needs under the direction of the Director of Resident Care, an RN, or an LPN. Perform duties in a way that supports residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity, following the organization’s mission, values, policies, and procedures.

Prepares, portions, serves, and delivers meals and beverages, and performs basic food preparation such as assembling sandwiches and salads. Washes dishes and utensils, cleans food-service areas, handles supplies and payments as needed, and completes related clerical duties.

Performs light cleaning and disinfection of floors, carpets, furniture, washrooms, and other facility areas, and handles waste removal and basic equipment maintenance. Also sorts, folds, delivers, and processes linens and garments using commercial laundry equipment, while reporting damaged fixtures and following facility security procedures.

Maintain and repair buildings, grounds, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and heavy-duty equipment, while completing painting, restoration, landscaping, waste handling, and asbestos abatement duties. Track work in TheWorxHub, follow safety procedures, support preventive maintenance, help supervise staff when the department manager is away, and participate in the on-call rotation.
