Take a look at tactable.io to learn more about our work and what sets us apart. The Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Technical Recruiting) We're looking for someone who is equal parts recruiter, talent strategist, and builder. This role is ideal for someone who loves the craft of technical recruiting but also wants to influence how a company attracts, hires, and retains exceptional talent. You'll own full-cycle recruiting for technical and business roles while partnering closely with leadership to shape hiring strategy, improve recruiting operations, strengthen our employer brand, and build scalable talent programs. If you're excited by finding exceptional people, creating outstanding candidate experiences, and helping build a world-class engineering organization, we'd love to meet you. What You’ll Do Full Life Cycle Recruiting Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across technical and non-technical roles Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview processes, and hiring criteria Source, screen, and engage high-quality candidates through multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, outbound, etc.) Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from first conversation through offer and onboarding Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning Partner with leadership on hiring priorities and long-term talent planning Build proactive talent pipelines for future hiring needs Provide market intelligence, salary insights, and hiring recommendations Help define hiring processes that scale with company growth Improve diversity of sourcing strategies and candidate outreach Process Improvement and Operations Continuously improve recruiting workflows, interview processes, and candidate communications Track recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and conversion rates Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across hiring Contribute to tools, systems, and scalable recruiting processes Employer Brand & Candidate Experience Help strengthen Tactable's employer brand across recruiting channels Partner with marketing and leadership on recruiting content and talent initiatives Build relationships with universities, communities, and technical networks Create a hiring experience that reflects our culture and values What You Bring Must-Have Experience 3–6+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in technical or agency environments Proven success hiring for technical roles (e.g., software engineers, architects, data roles) Strong sourcing skills and experience engaging passive candidates Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you build trust quickly with candidates and stakeholders Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience working with ATS tools and recruiting platforms A high bar for talent and strong instincts for candidate evaluation Nice-to-Haves Experience in startups, consulting firms, or high-growth environments Background in agency recruiting or consulting Familiarity with cloud, data, or AI-related roles Experience building recruiting processes from the ground up Why You’ll Love This Role Shape More Than Hiring: You'll help define how Tactable attracts, hires, and grows exceptional talent—not just fill open roles. High Ownership: You'll have autonomy to improve recruiting processes, influence hiring strategy, and make meaningful decisions alongside leadership. Growth Opportunity: This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the company, with increasing scope, ownership, and the potential to help shape Talent Acquisition as our needs evolve. Work Alongside Great Engineers: Partner directly with experienced technical leaders who care deeply about building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional work. Hybrid Culture, Toronto Roots: We're a hybrid-first company with a strong Toronto headquarters. In-office collaboration is encouraged while maintaining flexibility. Build Something That Lasts: You'll play a foundational role in shaping the people and culture behind the next generation of Tactable. Why This Might Not Be a Fit You're only interested in transactional recruiting and not improving recruiting strategy You prefer highly structured environments with established recruiting playbooks You're uncomfortable sourcing passive candidates or proactively building talent pipelines You're looking for a role with little ambiguity or ownership Compensation, Benefits & Perks Salary Range: Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 CAD, based on experience and role fit Comprehensive health and dental plan Generous PTO and holidays Laptop & home office equipment provided Career coaching and personalized development plans Regular social events, team outings, and wellness activities Ready to Design What’s Next?
