Rope Access JP Electrician

Position Summary Tacten is seeking Rope Access JP Electricians to join our team for long-term maintenance work in the Fort McMurray area. Position Information: Start Date: September 8, 2026 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts IRATA Level 1 Certification required, or willingness to obtain Fly-in-fly-out from Alberta hubs Camp provided Responsibilities Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. The Rope Access JP Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in industrial environments. They will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery.

Candidates must hold a Journeyman Electrician Certification and possess or be willing to obtain IRATA Level 1 certification. Additionally, safety certifications such as CSTS-09, OSSA BSO, or ESC CSO are required.
