Material Handler (Forklift Operator)

We’re looking for a Material Handler/ Forklift operator to keep our powder coating and production teams supplied and ready to go. Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm What We Offer: * Full-time, permanent employment * Starting wage: $23.75/hour * Annual wage increases based on performance * Overtime opportunities available * All statutory holidays off * Extended health, dental, life insurance benefits * Paid training and career development opportunities * Paid time off * Safety footwear allowance * Casual dress and free on-site parking What you will be doing: * Safely and efficiently, load and put away material from the warehouse using hand and power operated handling equipment. * Maintain the flow of materials being used in powder coating and production. * Load and unload materials in accordance with scheduling needs. * Ensure updated inventory levels by accurately recording inventory transactions * Ensure items are restocked according to established procedures * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area * Perform daily safety checklists and adhere comply with all safe work practices * Operation of a variety of production equipment. * At times, support warehouse operations loading, unloading materials and preparing items for shipment. * Other duties as required What You'll Bring to the Role * A valid forklift certification * Previous experience operating forklift, (sit down/stand up) in a warehouse environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English * Basic math skills * Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment Why Choose TAG Hardware?
