We're looking for an AI Engineer to help build next-generation AI-powered products. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, build intelligent features, experiment with emerging technologies, and help shape how modern software is developed. 🚀 What You'll Do Build AI-powered features using modern LLMs and AI APIs Develop across the stack using Python and Next.js Integrate APIs, data pipelines, and production systems Use AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot to accelerate development Collaborate with leadership to solve real customer problems Prototype quickly, iterate fast, and own projects from idea to deployment ✅ What We're Looking For 4+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong Python development skills Experience building applications with LLMs or AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Daily user of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot Experience across the full software development lifecycle Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment Curious, adaptable, and always learning new technologies Strong ownership mindset with excellent communication skills ⭐ Bonus Points Next.js RAG, AI Agents or Vector Databases Azure, Docker, Snowflake or Power BI Data engineering or analytics experience Startup or consulting background Open-source contributions, technical writing or personal AI projects Master's or PhD 💰 Compensation & Benefits CAD $50–$85/hour (approximately CAD $100K–$160K annually) You'll also enjoy: ✔ Fully remote within eligible Canadian provinces ✔ Extended Health, Dental & Vision coverage ✔ Meeting-Free Fridays ✔ Monthly Hackathon Days ✔ High ownership and minimal bureaucracy ✔ Opportunity to shape the future of AI-native software 🌟 Who Thrives Here?
