Location: GTA Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 (based on experience) Reference # 16817869 The Client Our client is a well-established Ontario-based general contractor with decades of experiencedelivering major civil infrastructure projects. With a strong project pipeline and continued growth across the GTA, they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a portfolio of high-value heavy civil projects. The Opportunity In this Senior Leadership position, you will take ownership of assigned projects and work closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, subcontractors, consultants, owners and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. What You'll Do Take overall responsibility for project performance, including cost, schedule, quality, safety and client satisfaction. Review contract documents, drawings, specifications and project requirements before mobilization. Develop, maintain and adjust detailed project schedules based on contract requirements and actual progress. Lead pre-construction, progress and stakeholder meetings while maintaining strong communication with project partners. Work closely with Site Superintendents to monitor production, progress and project performance. Manage project financials, forecasting, cost controls, progress billings and overall financial performance. Review and approve subcontractor and supplier payment applications. Oversee project documentation, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change management and other contract requirements. Identify project risks and work with the construction team to develop practical solutions to technical and scheduling challenges. What You Bring 15 years of experience as a Project Manager working on complex heavy civil construction projects. Strong background in earthworks, road works or bridge construction. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. P.Eng. designation is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, scheduling, cost management and change management. Experience with design-build, alternative procurement or other non-traditional delivery models is an asset. What's Next Click apply if you think this role is for you.
