Welder/Fitter Responsibilities Efficiently manage sizable custom projects with minimal oversight. Interpret engineered drawings to fabricate diverse custom structures. Demonstrate expertise in the fabrication process of large structures. Safely operate standard tooling and machinery in the fabrication industry. Uphold a high standard of workmanship, ensuring precision within tight tolerances and working effectively. Welder/Fitter Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and valid CWB Certification and/or Trade Certification. Minimum of 5 years of fitting experience required. Advanced level fitting skills are a prerequisite. Proficient in setting up and executing various welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and air carbon arc gouging. Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, structural drawings, and welding symbols. Certification as a Forklift/Crane Operator would be considered an asset. Employment Details: Location - Guelph Salary - starting at $26/hr + premiums Shifts - Days 6:30-4pm Monday - Thursday and 6:30-3pm Friday Afternoons - 4pm-3:30am Monday - Thursday Accommodations are available upon request to support your participation during all stages of the recruitment process.
