Job Description:- Job Title: DevOps Lead Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Lead to guide our teams in the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of DevOps practices and solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of our CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and cloud infrastructure, while leading a cross-functional team of engineers to ensure best practices are followed across development, operations, and business teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who drives technical excellence, promotes collaboration, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of DevOps strategies focused on CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure to ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of software. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including automation, continuous integration/delivery, and collaboration between development and operations teams. Oversee and manage the implementation of DevOps tools like GitLab, Run Deck, and others for continuous integration and delivery. Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to code integration, application deployment, and system scalability. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement across the DevOps team, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Ensure security, compliance, and governance in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes by adhering to best practices in automation, cloud security, and DevOps methodologies. Desired Skills & Experience: Primary Skills: Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, or Bamboo. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python) for automating tasks, building integrations, and improving processes. Hands on experience using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and other observability tools. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with experience in managing containerized applications in production environments. Proven expertise in implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Hands-on experience managing and optimizing complex, large-scale systems with a focus on scalability and reliability. Secondary Skills: Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Familiarity with microservices architectures and deployment strategies in cloud environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and stakeholders. Proven ability to lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship, direction, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. Experience in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. Experience with serverless computing architectures and technologies. Knowledge of security best practices, including securing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructures. Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year TCS does not use artificial intelligence tools for candidate screening or evaluation. This post is for a current vacancy.
