Job summary
Delighted to be partnering a with a growing real estate investment firm seeking a Tax Manager to join its expanding tax function. This is a hands-on opportunity for a CPA with 4+ years of corporate tax experience who is interested in developing their expertise across Canadian and US tax compliance within a private equity / real estate environment. Key responsibilities: Manage Canadian and US corporate and fund tax compliance Prepare and review federal, state/provincial, and other tax filings Prepare tax working papers, provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries Support tax authority queries, audits, and reviews Research tax issues and monitor legislative developments Partner with Finance and other internal teams on tax reporting and special projects Identify opportunities to improve tax processes through technology, automation, and AI What they’re looking for: CPA designation required 4+ years of Canadian, US, or cross-border corporate tax experience Strong tax compliance and tax accounting knowledge Big Four, real estate, private equity, or fund experience is an asset Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment This role offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, a performance-based bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, extended health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), and RRSP employer contributions.

Requirements
