The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. Responsibilities When your actions lead to success: Building new business through strategic prospecting and networking Developing relationships with manufacturers and industrial organizations Managing an established customer portfolio while expanding existing accounts Conducting customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations Identifying opportunities across multiple industries Collaborating with Customer Service, Production, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences Managing your pipeline using Salesforce CRM Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion Representing TC Transcontinental as a trusted business partner throughout your territory You'll likely succeed if you: ✔ Love finding new business rather than waiting for it. ✔ Enjoy cold calling, networking, and opening new doors. ✔ Take pride in building long-term customer relationships. ✔ Have experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, construction, transportation, or related sectors. ✔ Are naturally curious and enjoy learning how different industries operate. ✔ Prefer being in front of customers rather than sitting behind a desk. ✔ Can manage your own schedule and territory with minimal supervision. ✔ Are comfortable travelling throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Qualifications When your expertise drives us: 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience (10+ years is considered a strong asset) Demonstrated success generating new business Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, OEM, fleet, construction, transportation, or related industries Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills Experience using Salesforce or another CRM Excellent presentation and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively throughout your territory This Role Probably Isn't the Right Fit If... You prefer inbound leads over prospecting. Most of your sales experience has been inside sales or retail sales. You dislike cold outreach and business development. You're looking for a primarily office-based position. You prefer maintaining accounts rather than growing them. You aren't comfortable travelling regularly throughout your territory.
