Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role (Senior and Intermediate levels) based in Regina, SK. The Electrical Engineer will design and review power distribution and power system solutions, prepare drawings and documentation, and contribute to 3D conceptual designs for client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, supporting site studies, collaborating with field services and instrumentation teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers and clients, providing technical support during installation and commissioning, and assisting with troubleshooting and optimization of electrical systems. Senior engineers will additionally lead project teams, mentor intermediate engineers, and support the development of best practices and technical standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with practical understanding of electricity and its application in industrial and commercial environments. Proficiency in Electrical Design for power systems and power distribution, including layouts, schematics, protection coordination, and equipment specifications. Experience working with Power Systems and Power Distribution networks, including analysis, reliability, and safety considerations. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; eligibility for or registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan is an asset. Experience in utility, industrial, or large commercial projects, preferably involving high-voltage equipment and field services. Ability to interpret and apply relevant electrical codes and standards, and to produce clear technical documentation and reports. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on-site. Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
