Job summary
Role: Data Engineer Location: Downtown Toronto, Canada Duration: 12 months Hybrid: (3 days office, 2 days remote) Interview Type: Customer interview will be conducted in person at the customer’s downtown Toronto, Canada location Primary Technology Stack: Python (ETL Development) SQL Server (Database, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Query Optimization) Tableau (Dashboard Development & Reporting) REST APIs, Excel, CSV and other data sources Data Integration, Data Transformation and Analytics Reporting Key Responsibilities: Develop ETL pipelines using Python to extract data from APIs, Excel files, databases, and other source systems. Load and manage data in SQL Server databases. Develop and optimize Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and SQL queries. Implement data transformation, validation, and business rules within SQL Server. Create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across the data pipeline. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions. Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
