Senior Trainer

Position Overview The Client is seeking up to two experienced Trainers to support the Procurement System Modernization initiative within the 1GX Centre of Excellence (CoE). The successful candidate will design, develop, facilitate, and continuously improve complex learning solutions across multiple delivery channels while ensuring compliance with standards, accessibility requirements, and training governance practices. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide 1GX training initiatives and define role-based training strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Determine and implement appropriate delivery methods, including: Instructor-led training Virtual training Blended learning Self-paced learning Design, develop, and deliver complex learning solutions for diverse audiences. Develop training materials that comply with established templates, accessibility standards, and 1GX guidelines. Collaborate with program leadership, business process owners, SMEs, vendors, and the 1GX Change Network to validate learning requirements and readiness. Establish and maintain training governance processes, including: Intake and prioritization Quality assurance Review and approval cycles Version control Content maintenance Define and execute training evaluation and continuous improvement strategies using: Attendance metrics Learner feedback Knowledge assessments Performance insights Mentor and coach junior trainers to ensure consistent learner experiences and delivery quality. Mandatory Qualifications Education University degree in a related field such as: Adult Education Instructional Design Organizational Development Learning & Development Other relevant disciplines Required Experience Requirement Minimum Experience Training Needs Analysis and Competency Development Frameworks 4+ years Developing and Delivering Training Materials (including computer-based training) 6+ years Leading Curriculum Design Projects from Inception to Completion 4+ years Learning and Training Concepts and Principles 4+ years Professional Learning & Development Experience 4+ years Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Professional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience with: Microsoft Office Suite Learning Management Systems (LMS) Training evaluation methodologies (formative and summative) Developing and implementing training plans Adobe Captivate or similar e-learning authoring tools Digital Adoption Platforms (e.g., WalkMe) Working knowledge of SAP applications is considered an asset.

The Senior Trainer will lead enterprise-wide training initiatives and design complex learning solutions across various delivery methods. They will also establish training governance processes and mentor junior trainers.

Candidates must have a university degree in a related field and significant experience in training development and delivery. They should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
