Job summary

Our client, a leading energy and utilities organization, is seeking a Change Management Professional (Level 1) to join their team on a contract basis. Working under the guidance of a Senior Change Management professional, this role will advise on change initiatives and perform change management activities to enable the successful implementation of key projects safely, with quality, within budget, and on time. This is a 1-year contract to start - hybrid in Vancouver, with potential to extend. What You’ll Do Support the creation and implementation of change management plans by conducting current and future state needs assessments across multiple disciplines. Support the development and delivery of change management activities, such as stakeholder engagement, training, and communications. Apply change tactics for process, technical, and system changes using solid change management techniques to support people through transitions. Deliver relevant progress reports with supporting metrics using advanced MS Office skills to keep stakeholders informed of project status and impacts. Analyze stakeholder engagement and develop qualitative reports using databases, information systems, and surveys to track impacts and adjust plans as needed. Collect scheduling inputs from business groups to develop, manage, and execute training delivery logistics. Analyze data and develop reports to track training delivery metrics. Support the design, development, and maintenance of user-friendly technical training materials, courses, and basic tools (presentations, job aids, guides, information briefs). Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training materials and delivery, including lessons learned and corrective measures. Develop sustainment plans for training and successfully hand them over to business operations. What You Bring 1 to 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering training within a project environment. Utilities or heavy industry experience strongly desired. Proven ability to collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to gather training requirements and translate subject matter into clear content. Experience planning, managing, executing, and evaluating training delivery approaches and sustainment plans. Quick learner who can synthesize and make sense of information from multiple sources.
