Hiring: SAP Functional Master Data Consultant 📍 Remote in Canada 💼 Contract We’re looking for a hands-on SAP Functional Consultant with strong master data and data analysis experience. This is not a pure governance, documentation, or project management role. We need someone who can sit with business users, understand the problem, dig into SAP and the underlying data, identify the root cause, define the functional solution, and work with technical teams through implementation and validation. What you’ll be doing: • Work directly with business users to gather and translate requirements into SAP solutions • Analyze SAP master data, processes, dependencies, and data quality issues • Create functional specifications, data mappings, business rules, and solution documentation • Partner closely with SAP developers and technical teams • Support data cleansing, validation, transformation, reconciliation, and remediation • Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution • Troubleshoot production issues and determine root causes • Help improve master data quality and SAP processes What we’re looking for: • Strong hands-on SAP functional experience with a focus on Master Data • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and master data relationships • Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders • Strong experience writing functional specifications • Hands-on experience with data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation • Experience working closely with SAP developers/technical teams • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience with Material, Customer, Vendor/Business Partner, Finance master data, SAP MDG, data migration, or SQL is a plus.
