Senior Full Stack Developer — Drupal + React + Azure | 100% Remote | 6-Month Contract Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to replace a legacy Drupal 7 environment with a modern Drupal 11 + React architecture. This is a fully remote, hands-on build role, not a maintenance/upgrade position. What You'll Do Develop and configure a new Drupal 11 digital services platform Build reusable, accessible React components and matching Drupal Twig components Configure Azure infrastructure and build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Integrate Azure AI Search and retrieval-based functionality where required Fully participate in Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives Use AI-assisted development tools (including Claude) throughout requirements, coding, testing, and review Provide technical recommendations, flag delivery risks early, and support team development standards The Details 📍 100% remote ⏱ Initial 6-month contract What We're Looking For Strong recent experience building applications using Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 — from the ground up, not just maintaining existing sites Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development experience Strong Twig templating and Drupal front-end development Hands-on experience configuring and deploying in Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Significant experience as a fully contributing member of an Agile Scrum team Ability to work independently and deliver with limited direction Strong communication skills and comfort giving direct, constructive technical feedback Nice to Have Azure AI Search, RAG, or generative AI experience; familiarity with Azure AI Foundry Experience with WCAG accessibility standards Storybook and atomic design system experience C# web services/API experience Infrastructure-as-code experience (Bicep) Experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools Experience modernizing legacy Drupal 7 environments Municipal, public sector, or citizen-facing digital services experience
