Job summary
Senior Network Engineer Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (2–3 days/week onsite) Salary: $110,000–125,000K We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to own and lead the enterprise networking function across a growing multi-site organization. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure while partnering with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams. Responsibilities Own the enterprise network across multiple locations. Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, and cloud networking solutions. Develop network architecture, standards, and documentation. Create and maintain network diagrams. Improve network performance, security, and reliability. Design secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments. Partner with Cyber Security to implement network hardening and secure configurations. Plan infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and modernization initiatives. Serve as the senior escalation point for networking issues. Required Qualifications 7+ years of enterprise networking experience. Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments. Strong routing and switching expertise. Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security. Experience with cloud networking (Azure preferred, AWS also considered). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience creating network architecture and documentation. Ability to work independently and own the networking function from design through implementation. Nice to Have Cisco Meraki, Arista, Aruba, or other enterprise networking platforms. Enterprise data centre networking. Healthcare or other regulated industry experience. Network automation and scripting. Zero Trust and Privileged Access Management concepts. Relevant networking certifications.
