Our client, a well-established Crown Corp, is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will apply advanced engineering knowledge to lead medium-complexity projects, design critical telecommunications infrastructure, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and technical execution. This is a 1-year contract with potential to extend - hybrid in Vancouver. ( Extendable long term) What You’ll Do Develop safe, innovative engineering designs and resolve complex technical field and design challenges. Serve as the Owner's Engineer, reviewing external service providers' designs for technical compliance and constructability. Prepare, sign, and seal engineering deliverables as Professional of Record (PoR) in accordance with EGBC standards. Provide field support, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical queries during construction phases. Guide, mentor, and perform peer reviews for junior engineers and technical support staff. Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with standards. What You Bring P.Eng. designation a must 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications systems engineering and design. Direct hands-on experience with IP/MPLS, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Public and Private LTE and 5G. Experience with WiMAX, SONET, TDM systems, mobile radio systems, teleprotection circuits, antennas and towers, grounding systems, and other telecommunications technologies an asset Strong leadership, technical writing, presentation, and multi-disciplinary communication skills. Requirements

Must possess a P.Eng. designation and at least 8 years of progressive experience in telecommunications systems engineering. Expertise in IP/MPLS, DAS, LTE, and 5G is required, with additional knowledge of legacy TDM and radio systems preferred.
