Job summary
Role Overview * The Client Partner is a senior, strategic leader within the Revenue department, responsible for owning and expanding high-value client relationships. * You are a commercial driver responsible for meeting specific sales quotas and revenue goals. * You will act as a primary advisor to C-suite stakeholders at enterprise brands, ensuring they receive maximum value while proactively uncovering expansion opportunities. * You are expected to bring strategic ideas to the table that impact the client's journey on unified commerce. Key Responsibilities * Own a formal sales quota, responsible for hitting defined revenue targets and pipeline goals. * Lead annual and quarterly account planning sessions to identify white-space opportunities and strategic growth paths within existing accounts. * Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities, upsells, and cross-sells. * Partner with leadership to develop complex proposals, pricing models, and contract negotiations. * Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business challenges into actionable service solutions. * Set the long-term vision for assigned accounts, aligning internal delivery teams with the client’s overarching global business goals. * Proactively surface account risks and navigate complex organizational structures to resolve issues and ensure long-term retention. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in client partnership, account management, or consultative sales, specifically within a high-growth agency or consultancy environment. * Experience managing and growing $1M+ revenue accounts and meeting/exceeding individual sales quotas. * Demonstrated experience working with large global brands and navigating the complexities of global enterprise structures. * High level of comfort and "presence" when presenting to and negotiating with C-suite executives (CMO, CTO, COO). * Deep understanding of current trends in unified commerce and the broader digital commerce ecosystem * Proven ability to build and execute comprehensive account plans that drive multi-year growth. * Knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem is a bonus.
