<p>Tekdata Metal Solutions is seeking a motivated <strong>Sheet Metal Worker</strong> eager to grow and develop their skills within our fabrication team.</p><p>This position is primarily focused on sheet metal fabrication and press brake operation, including bending, forming, and operating fabrication equipment. The role also involves supporting laser-cutting operations during production.</p><p>Whether you already have experience with laser cutting or are eager to learn, we provide on-site training on Amada laser systems by certified professionals.</p><p>You will play a key role in ensuring <strong>precision, quality, and efficiency</strong> in production.</p> <br> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong> Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints ? Mandatory </strong></li><li>Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, bending and shaping metal using shears, press brakes, and related equipment<br> ? Work with various materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass?<br> ? Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, height-gauge) in both imperial and metric systems<br> ? Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting</li><li>Operate Amada laser cutting machines safely and efficiently<br> ?Load materials and monitor cutting programs during production<br> ? Perform basic machine setup and adjustments</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans<br> ? Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges)<br> ? Ability to operate sheet metal equipment, including press brakes (bending machines) and shears<br> ?<strong> Strong attention to detail and a high level of precision</strong><br> ? Good manual dexterity and versatility in handling metal fabrication tasks<br> ? Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills<br> ? Problem-solving mindset with initiative and accountability<br> ? Autonomous, resourceful, and responsible<br> ? Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities ( Rush Jobs)</li><li>Experience with laser cutting equipment (Amada or similar) is considered an asset<br> ? Basic understanding of laser parameters (focus, speed, power) is considered an asset<br> ?
