Job summary
Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Application Packager to support enterprise application packaging, software deployment, and application lifecycle management. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with MSI/MST packaging, SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, scripting, and enterprise software deployment. Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and deploy application packages for Windows environments. Create and maintain MSI/MST packages using enterprise packaging standards. Package and deploy COTS, GOTS, and custom applications using AdminStudio, InstallShield, and PSADT. Manage software deployments through SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Develop silent, automated, rollback-enabled, and conflict-free application packages. Perform application discovery and gather technical and deployment requirements from stakeholders. Build and maintain virtual machines used for application packaging and testing. Develop and maintain deployment scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, CScript, and WScript. Troubleshoot application packaging and deployment issues in enterprise environments. Support software updates, service packs, patches, and emergency security deployments. Work with CAB, Change Management, Release Management, and User Engagement teams to support successful deployments. Provide packaging estimates, status updates, and ongoing lifecycle support. Identify opportunities to improve packaging and deployment processes through automation and scripting. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Application Packaging and Software Deployment. Strong experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Extensive hands-on experience creating MSI/MST packages. Experience with AdminStudio, InstallShield, and/or PSADT. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, CScript, and WScript. Experience managing the end-to-end software deployment lifecycle. Experience creating and maintaining virtual packaging environments. Strong understanding of software deployment, change management, and release management. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
