Job summary
Title -DevSecOps Engineer This is a 12 months contract located in Markham, Ont /Hybrid 2 days in office, 3 days work from home (could potentially change to 4 days in office) MUST-HAVE Hard Skills: 1.) 8+ years of security related technology experience 2.) 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering with a strong focus on automation and security. 3.) 5+ years of scripting/programming languages, including Python, PowerShell, and Bash. 4.) 5+ years of experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms. SOFT SKILLS: 1.) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 2.) Strong time management, priority management skills 3.) Attention to detail and someone who is a self-starter and adaptable NICE-TO-HAVE 1.) CISSP certification 2.) Experience designing and implementing automation solutions for certificate lifecycle management and cryptographic operations. 3.) Strong understanding of cryptographic fundamentals, including: Symmetric and asymmetric encryption Key management and lifecycle management Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) TLS/SSL Digital signatures and hashing algorithms 4.) Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments
