The Role Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Technology Intake and Delivery portfolio. This role focuses on financial evaluation of technology investments through business case development, financial modeling, cost estimation, forecasting, and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities ✅ Build and maintain business cases, cost models, and investment analyses ✅ Develop project cost estimates, funding requirements, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments ✅ Conduct ROI, CPVRR, and other investment evaluations ✅ Validate financial assumptions provided by vendors, stakeholders, and project teams ✅ Support forecasting activities and explain variances within project portfolios ✅ Consolidate financial data across multiple projects and programs ✅ Assist with portfolio-level reporting and investment recommendations ✅ Improve financial modeling tools, templates, and reporting methodologies Required Qualifications ✔ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business, or related discipline ✔ CPA designation ✔ 3-5+ years of Financial Analysis, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Project Controls, Investment Analysis, or Business Case Development experience ✔ Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, and complex formulas ✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills ✔ Experience preparing reports, presentations, and executive-level financial documentation Considered an Asset ⭐ Technology projects ⭐ Digital transformation initiatives ⭐ Infrastructure programs ⭐ Capital projects ⭐ Utility, energy, or regulated industry environments ⭐ Large enterprise organizations Why Consider This Opportunity? 🌟 High-profile technology investment portfolio 🌟 Exposure to strategic business decisions 🌟 Hybrid work environment 🌟 Opportunity to work alongside highlevel business and technology leaders Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Edmonton, AB.
