We are looking for an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Developer to lead and support end-to-end implementations across Finance, Workforce, and Sales Planning modules. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying Adaptive Planning models, and is comfortable engaging directly with FP&A, HR, and business stakeholders. This role is well suited to Adaptive Planning practitioners who enjoy solving complex modeling challenges, working closely with Finance and HR stakeholders, and delivering planning solutions that directly support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities support full-cycle Workday Adaptive Planning implementations — requirements gathering, design, build, testing, UAT, and go-live. Design and build Sheets, Modeled Sheets, Dashboards, Office Connect reports, and Discovery Boards. Configure security roles, permissions, versions, and level hierarchies. Build and maintain formulas, cube-level calculations, and reporting structures for budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning. Partner with FP&A, HR, and business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable Adaptive models. Conduct UAT, data validation, and troubleshooting during implementation cycles. Provide post-implementation support, enhancements, and end-user training. Document solution design, configuration specs, and test scripts. Requirements Basic Requirements 4–5 years of experience implementing Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights). Strong understanding of FP&A processes — budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting. Hands-on experience with Sheets, Modeled Sheets, Levels, Versions, Formulas, Dashboards, and Office Connect. Experience with integrations (Adaptive Integrator, APIs, flat-file loads) between Adaptive Planning and Workday HCM/Financials or other ERP/HRIS systems. Solid grasp of security configuration (functional and data-level security). Prior experience in at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
