Responsibilities: Lead and manage bridge and highway structural design projects, applying 15+ years of experience from preliminary design through to detailed design and construction.Oversee the analysis and design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and transportation-related structures in accordance with applicable standards.Supervise and coordinate the production of design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) (mandatory).Lead design processes using software tools such as AutoCAD and Microstation.Conduct site inspections and fulfill contract administration duties during the construction phase.Review contractor shop drawings and ensure quality control.Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to support project success. Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred).Minimum 10–15+ years of experience in structural engineering with a strong focus on bridge and/or highway design (mandatory).Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License.Extensive experience in designing concrete, steel, and wood structures. Requirements
