Job summary
Job Title: Steamfitter/ Pipefitter – Full-Time -Permanent Location: Sterling Road, Toronto, Ontario. Hourly Rate: $44.10/hour About the Role: We are currently hiring a licensed Steamfitter / Pipefitter (307A) for a full-time permanent role at our facility in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical sector. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair piping and plumbing systems. Perform maintenance on pumps and valves (an asset). Interpret and follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Use computer systems (factory systems, SAP) to document and execute tasks. Execute duties with minimal supervision and high attention to detail. Support a 24/7 operation with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to urgent needs. Conduct quality checks and adhere to GMP standards. Follow ISO 14001 Environmental and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements. Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (NQMS) and company quality policy. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications: Valid Ontario Steamfitter License (307A) – Required Experience in manufacturing maintenance – Preferred Experience in food or pharmaceutical industry – Preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and literacy Proficient computer skills; SAP experience is an asset Proven reliability and good attendance record Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as needed Send your resume at [email protected] This job post is for a recruitment campaign.
