Senior Frontend Engineer (React & AWS) – Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Job Title: Frontend Engineer (React + AWS) Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite at the Toronto Office We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React and AWS to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in modern frontend technologies, experience working in Agile environments, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS. Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance UI components. Integrate frontend applications with backend services through REST APIs. Work with AWS cloud services to support deployment and application integration. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Mandatory Skills 5+ years of Frontend Development experience. Strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with React-Redux, Redux-Saga, and Single Page Applications (SPA). Hands-on experience with Webpack, npm, Yarn, and ESLint. Experience with Sass/LESS and responsive web design. Strong knowledge of REST APIs. Experience with CI/CD and automated testing. Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2, Lambda, Amplify, or related services). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.

The Senior Frontend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS and integrate frontend applications with backend services. They will also collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure code quality through automated testing.

Candidates must have over 5 years of frontend development experience with strong expertise in ReactJS and AWS. They should also have experience in Agile environments and a solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
