Apply today and join the company that is Leading with Science. Summary We are seeking an Operations Geologist - NAm Well Operations for a temporary part-time role based in the Calgary office. Candidate must be highly motivated, customer focused and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload and travel as needed. Excellent written and verbal communication, client interaction and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications required. Your Role Assist with logistics and provide technical support for Field Associates and communicate standard for high quality of service and monitor adherence Maintain that all Field Associates are compliant with Tetra Tech and client safety requirements and programs including Journey Management QA/QC daily operations updates and final client reports for Canadian and US based operations Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geology Current registration as a P. Geo. with APEGA 3-5+ years working for an E&P company in an office-based play development and/or operations role, or 5+ years of domestic wellsite experience High competence and aptitude in Remote Geosteering operations with proficiency in ROGII's StarSteer software and working knowledge of pre-drill data downloads, real-time drilling interpretations in various conventional & unconventional plays, and post-drill summary presentations to clients Additional Information A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship (a copy of a valid work permit may be required). To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required but will be explained during the recruitment process if they are necessary. As this position may be serving clients that have vaccination requirements for site access, we may be confirming your eligibility to comply with this requirement.
