Position Description Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Intermediate Process Engineer. Responsibilities Generate detailed process calculations and associated reports (hydraulics/line sizing, relief valve sizing, control valve sizing, equipment sizing, etc.). Review detailed process calculations completed by other members of the process team. Attend client meetings (P&ID reviews, CP/SDK reviews, HAZOPs, ORAs, etc.) as the process engineering representative. Prepare PDBs, P&IDs, PFDs, LDTs, car seal lists, engineered set point lists, equipment datasheets, and other process deliverables. Develop detailed process simulations using Honeywell UniSim and Aspen HYSYS. Review control philosophies and SDKs. Coordinate with other disciplines and the project team regarding project status. Experience with oil and gas, particularly SAGD and water treatment projects, is considered an asset. Requirements A bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution. 8+ years of process engineering experience. Demonstrated SAGD process engineering experience is required. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA. Proficient with Honeywell UniSim and Aspen HYSYS process simulation software. Familiar with API STD 521, API STD 520 Part 1 & Part 2, API STD 2000, API RP 14E, ASME B31.3, CSA Z662, ASME Section VIII Div. 1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative project team environment. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
