As a valuable member of our Group Compliance team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their goals. Responsibilities The compliance intern role will be part of the Group Compliance function. The role will have exposure to each of the business lines in the banking services in Canada and worldwide. In addition, as part of a Group Compliance function, there will be opportunities and exposure to other Group Compliance activities across the Citco group of companies including compliance monitoring, regulatory change management, financial crime compliance, Group policies and training. You will provide support and assistance to other members of Group Compliance Work with the business to facilitate a robust compliance culture Provide assistance within the Regulatory Change Management process Build and maintain a constructive and professional relationship with all relevant stakeholders Provide support in undertaking compliance monitoring in accordance with annual monitoring plans Assisting with regulatory queries Qualifications Current University/Recent Graduate student in a relevant field e.g. Law, Regulatory Compliance, Economics, Business Administration etc. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task while applying keen attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook Ability to work in a challenging, professional, and fast-paced environment Strong time-management abilities with an ability to work as part of a successful team Display an active interest in legal/regulatory compliance and/or risk management Demonstrate attention to detail Be inquisitive Salary Range: CAD $20 Per Hour - This posting is for an existing vacancy.
