Top Key Responsibilities: * Support and lead recreation programs, camps, child-minding, and climbing wall activities. * Ensure facilities, equipment, and program areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. * Provide excellent customer service and support participants, staff, and instructors. * Communicate participant feedback, concerns, and program information effectively. * Complete administrative tasks, reports, and program evaluations. * Follow health, safety, and emergency procedures while assisting with other assigned duties. * Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor As our preferred candidate, you will have: * Grade 12 or equivalent. * NCCP Level 1 Theory Certification or on year experience in a recreation/leisure environment providing program support * Intermediate First Aid * Exceptional customer service skills. * Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills. * Proven leadership skills. * Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License. * Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values. * Ability to do minor lifting. * Ability to work in noisy conditions. * Ability to work in stressful conditions and deal with conflict situations. Affiliation: Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417 Status: Regular Part-Time Remuneration: $29.14 to $30.68 per hour. Hours of Work: 60 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Availability required for weekends, evenings, weekdays, early mornings and potential split shifts as business needs are required. Requirements

Candidates must possess a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and either NCCP Level 1 Theory certification or one year of experience in a recreation environment. A valid Alberta Driver’s License and Intermediate First Aid certification are also required.
