As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Minimum 2 years field experience required. Responsibilities/Duties: Assist experienced carpenters in various construction tasks, including demolition, framing, window and door installation, siding, insulation, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry Learn to read and interpret construction plans accurately Aid in material take-offs and ordering Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project execution Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills through on-the-job training Required Skills/Abilities: Minimum 2-years field experience required Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the carpentry trade Motivated, hardworking, reliable, and a team player Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of construction tools and materials Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to following health and safety guidelines Valid driver's license and own vehicle with a clean driving abstract Willing to travel as needed for projects in and around the Ottawa area Proficient with Technology
