Commerce Night’s Videographer Associate will support the VP Visual Media in the filming and creation of long-form video content highlighting the achievements of Sauder’s community and student leaders. \n Time Commitment First semester: 3-6 hours/week Second semester (prior to Commerce Night): 12-18 hours/week Term of Employment October 2026 - March 2027 Main Responsibilities roduce long-form, high-quality professional videos from filming through final edit Contribute to creative direction and make informed technical and creative decisions throughout production Provide comprehensive video coverage, including CUS event footage, B-roll, and interviews Associates are also expected to: Attend all Commerce Night GMs and department meetings Respond to all Slack communications within 24 hours Take ownership of assigned tasks and meet set internal deadlines Provide ideas and support for the overall vision and planning of the Commerce Night gala Assist with the overall planning and execution of the Group & Individual Awards Information Session and the Awards Night Gala alongside the team Participate in Commerce Night boothing activities to promote awards Qualifications Demonstrate strong technical judgment and a high standard for production quality Have the necessary professional-grade camera, lighting, audio, and production equipment Be proficient in professional video editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.) Bring the creative vision to interpret project goals and translate them into effective visual storytelling Anticipated Learning Outcomes Develop their videography portfolio Work with different stakeholders within the Sauder community, including faculty, professors, and student leaders \n Submit the following information on Lever: A one-page resume outlining your most relevant experiences A cover letter describing: Why do you want to be involved in the CUS Commerce Night? Why do you think you would be an excellent candidate for the position? What new element would you bring to Commerce Night, and how would you make it happen?
