The Finance Associate supports EMP's financial operations, assisting the VP Finance with expense tracking, reimbursement processing, and financial reporting throughout the year. \n Time Commitment 5–7 hours per week during regular program periods; 6–8 hours per week during event weeks with reimbursement processing. Terms of Employment October 2026 — April 2027 Key Responsibilities Support budget tracking and help maintain accurate records of actual vs budgeted expenses Assist with processing AMS reimbursements for the team Help coordinate vendor payments Maintain organized financial documentation and records Support the VP Finance in preparing financial updates for exec meetings Assist with financial planning across events and initiatives Qualifications Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills High attention to detail and reliability Comfort with budgeting, tracking, and reconciliation Interest in finance, accounting, or operations Ability to work with financial documentation and processes Ability to work effectively as part of a team \n Submit one single PDF no later than September 27th, 2026 at 10:00PM PDT with the following information: A one-page resume outlining your most relevant experiences A one-page cover letter describing: Why you want to support EMP Your views and personal experiences with mentorship Please save the single PDF document using the naming convention: Finance_Associate_Lastname_Firstname.pdf Please contact emp@cus.ca if you have any additional questions or concerns.
