The Podcast Video Editor transforms raw recordings into polished, engaging podcast episodes for our YouTube channel and our Spotify account. This involves trimming content, improving audio quality, balancing sound, and creating smooth, natural transitions. Working closely with the host, the editor helps shape each episode into a clear and compelling listening experience. \n Time Commitment and Term of Employment 5 hours per week Sept 2026 - April 2027 Responsibilities Cleaning and editing audio to ensure high-quality sound Provide technical setup and troubleshooting before, during, and after filming Adding visual elements (e.g effects and transitions) to enhance engagement and overall viewing experience Qualifications Strong understanding of file management, audio control, and filming/editing techniques Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality, polished final content Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines Strong communication skills & ability to collaborate with hosts and team members Understanding of different visual effects and transitions, and their impact on the viewer’s experience Ability to look beyond the surface to consider and appreciate the experiences, circumstances, and perspectives that shape people's stories Ability to receive and apply feedback and have a collaborative mindset \n Please submit the following by Sept 20 at 11:59 pm A one-page resume outlining your most relevant experiences A cover letter describing: Why do you want to be part of Comm Street?
