Ashley Canada is looking for a Sales Manager to join our Winnipeg West store at 1000 St. James St. What You’ll Love • Competitive salary of $55,000–$65,000, plus quarterly bonus eligibility • Comprehensive benefits, educational assistance and employee discounts • World-class training and opportunities for career growth • A collaborative environment where your leadership and ideas can make an impact What You'll Do • Lead day-to-day sales-floor performance and drive results across sales, margin, conversion, average sale, bedding and other key measures • Coach and develop Sales Team Members to achieve individual and store goals • Review performance trends, identify gaps and turn insights into focused coaching and action plans • Build an engaged, accountable and results-oriented team through consistent feedback, training and performance management • Lead team meetings and reinforce company sales strategies, promotions, product knowledge and selling processes • Monitor guest traffic, sales opportunities, staffing coverage and competitor activity • Ensure guests receive accurate product information, order details and delivery expectations • Maintain strong presentation standards throughout the store, including the Bedding Gallery and Dream Destination • Partner with the General Sales Manager on recruitment, onboarding, team development and store priorities • Support sales forecasting, business planning and financial-performance reviews • Participate in store initiatives and cross-functional projects while developing toward future General Sales Manager opportunities • Demonstrate TDG’s Core Values and help create a respectful, engaging and high-performing workplace What You Bring • 3–5 years of progressive sales or retail experience with a record of achieving performance targets • At least two years of leadership, supervisory or management experience in a sales-driven environment • Experience coaching individuals or teams and holding people accountable for results • Confidence interpreting sales data and turning it into clear actions • Strong business judgment, communication and relationship-building skills • Experience in furniture, mattresses, retail, hospitality or another guest-focused sales environment is preferred • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or a related field is an asset; a combination of education and experience will be considered • Willingness to complete required sales, product and Sleep Systems training • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings and weekends • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift or carry up to 25 pounds; reasonable accommodations are available • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required Ready to lead performance, grow your team and take the next step in your retail leadership career?
