The Family Centre is a non-profit agency that provides workshops, classes, counselling, family support services, and therapeutic foster care services to foster healthy families in healthy communities.

Conduct evidence-informed psychological and related assessments for children, youth, young adults, caregivers, and families, including interviews, testing, observations, consultations, and report writing. Collaborate with families, Indigenous communities, child intervention practitioners, and other professionals; communicate findings and recommendations, prepare court-related documentation, and provide expert testimony when qualified.

Support families and caregivers to strengthen parenting capacity, resilience, family functioning, and natural support networks through individual and group work. Build community connections, facilitate capacity-building activities, and help caregivers address barriers to positive parenting and engage in their children's learning.

Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy services to vulnerable clients through the Drop-In Single-Session Counselling program and subsidized therapy. Responsibilities include establishing therapeutic relationships, advocating for clients, and completing administrative tasks and clinical supervision requirements.
