Job summary

Amazon Marketplace Manager – Key Responsibilities Amazon Marketplace Manager to lead and optimize our presence on Amazon.ca. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, improving product visibility, driving revenue, and ensuring seamless customer experience across our Amazon channels. 1. Amazon Account Management • Oversee and optimize the company’s Amazon Seller Central account(s) • Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and procedures • Manage seller performance metrics (e.g., Order Defect Rate, Late Shipment Rate) 2. Product Listings & Catalog Management • • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the Amazon Catalog & Listing Specialist to ensure all product listings are accurately created, maintained, and optimized • Review and approve listing strategies, content updates, and catalog enhancements to support sales growth and marketplace compliance • Ensure product listings maintain accurate categorization, imagery, specifications, and brand standards across all SKUs • Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of A+ Content, Brand Registry initiatives, and listing optimization programs • Collaborate with the Catalog & Listing Specialist to identify TFG private brand products suitable for Amazon marketplace expansion • Evaluate catalog performance and guide the launch strategy for new products entering the Amazon ecosystem • Monitor listing quality, compliance, and content performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. 3. Pricing & Promotions • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies in response to market trends and competition • Plan and execute Amazon promotions (coupons, deals, and lightning offers) • Manage MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) adherence across listings 4. Inventory & Fulfillment Oversight • • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to team members responsible for FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) inventory management • Develop and oversee inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize sales opportunities • Review inventory performance metrics and collaborate with internal teams to improve forecasting accuracy and replenishment planning • Guide the development and execution of shipment and replenishment plans to Amazon fulfillment centers • Monitor inventory health, storage utilization, and fulfillment performance, identifying opportunities for operational improvement • Oversee the resolution strategy for stranded, suppressed, excess, and aged inventory issues, ensuring timely corrective actions by the responsible team members • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to align inventory availability with business objectives and Amazon demand forecasts 5. Advertising & Growth Strategy • Develop and manage Amazon PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns to drive traffic and sales • Analyze performance data and refine ad strategy accordingly • Coordinate with marketing to align Amazon efforts with broader sales goals 6. Vendor & Partnership Relations • Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon-related vendor partnerships • Onboard and manage third-party brands or product lines authorized for sale • Ensure partner brand guidelines and expectations are met 7. Data Analysis & Reporting • Regularly track and report on KPIs including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and profitability • Identify opportunities for improvement based on analytics • Prepare weekly/monthly performance summaries for leadership 8. Customer Experience & Feedback Management • • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to team members responsible for monitoring customer reviews, feedback, and Amazon Q&A activity • Analyze customer feedback trends and identify opportunities to improve product quality, listings, fulfillment processes, and overall customer experience • Oversee the resolution strategy for negative customer feedback, escalations, and Amazon customer service issues, ensuring timely and appropriate action by the responsible team members • Collaborate with internal departments to address recurring customer concerns and implement corrective actions • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics, account health indicators, and feedback performance to ensure compliance with Amazon standards • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, brand reputation, customer retention, and long-term marketplace growth • Provide recommendations and guidance to improve the customer journey and support a positive brand experience across all Amazon channels 9. Compliance & Brand Protection • Ensure all product listings and marketing efforts are in compliance with Amazon policies and Canadian regulations • Monitor and report unauthorized sellers or counterfeit issues • Utilize Brand Registry tools for IP protection 10. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with purchasing, logistics, sales, and marketing teams to align Amazon operations with company objectives • Participate in product launches and e-commerce strategy planning
