We are seeking an organized, diligent, and highly motivated full-time Duty Manager Team Lead to join our Member Experience Team. As the Duty Manager Team Lead, you will provide visible leadership and operational support across the Glencoe Club, helping ensure service excellence, safety, security, and a consistently positive member experience. You will support daily club operations, coach and guide team members, reinforce Club standards and policies, and respond to member, employee, safety, and operational concerns. Responsibilities: * Represent Club Management in the absence of senior leadership, making timely operational decisions, and ensuring Club policies, procedures, standards, and expectations are consistently upheld * Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, training, and operational guidance to Duty Managers, sharing best practices and supporting effective conflict resolution while referring formal performance management matters to the appropriate supervisor * Safeguard Members, guests, employees, and Club property by identifying and responding to hazards, enforcing safety, security, and emergency procedures, administering first aid within the scope of training, and ensuring incidents are appropriately documented and escalated * Promote an exceptional member and guest experience by acting as a visible Club host, responding to concerns and requests, supporting appropriate access and conduct, enforcing Club rules consistently, and identifying opportunities to improve service * Coordinate daily operational requirements, including opening and closing procedures, department support and relief coverage, access controls, cash handling and reconciliation, first aid readiness, and communication of key operational information through Duty Manager reports * Maintain strong communication and collaboration across Member Services, Duty Managers, Operations, and other departments to support seamless service, including coordinating responses to maintenance, IT, staffing, and operational issues * Maintain current knowledge and operational resources, including Club procedures and Emergency Action Plans, while supporting compliance with applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: * Post-secondary certificate or degree is required; supervisory or management experience in a private club, sport, recreation, hospitality, or service setting is an asset * Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, training, mentoring, and supporting employees * Previous Duty Manager experience and WHMIS certification are strong assets * Excellent communication, interpersonal, member service, and conflict-resolution skills * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask, adapt, and make sound decisions * Proficient in Microsoft Office; Current CPR Level C, Standard First Aid, and Pro Serve certifications are required. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
