The Good News Broadcasting Association of Canada (GNBAC) is the organizational umbrella for Back to the Bible Canada, dedicated to leading people into a growing, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ through excellent, innovative, multimedia Bible teaching and engagement. We are seeking a full-time Director of Ministry Content to join our Leadership Team. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership over the creation, theological integrity, and distribution of ministry content across a national, multimedia Bible-teaching ministry. The ideal candidate combines strong biblical grounding, theological expertise, with excellent communication skills, sound strategic judgment, and the ability to lead a creative team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must understand and affirm the mission, vision, and Statement of Faith of Back to the Bible Canada, welcome a diverse constituency, and be open to new strategies for ministry effectiveness. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Key Responsibilities Serve on the Leadership Team, shaping and implementing ministry content strategy in line with organizational mission. Serve as steward of theological accuracy across all ministry content, reviewing and approving content for doctrinal soundness. Respond effectively to constituent theological or biblical questions and correspondence from a distinctly and exclusively biblical perspective. Develop original ministry content and adapt existing resources to expand Bible-teaching and engagement materials. Oversee ministry content development across print, digital, and other formats, partnering with the Communications team to fit each medium. Ability to oversee, edit and ensure theological accuracy of new ministry works with excellence. Potential to represent the ministry publicly as a spokesperson and speaker at events and in the media. Content areas include Back to the Bible Canada monthly ministry appeals, Truth & Life Magazine articles, ministry blogs, development magazines, books/booklets, and special projects, across all relevant platforms. Qualifications & Attributes Mature, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and full agreement with GNBAC's Statement of Faith and mission. Master’s degree in theology or closely related field Strong creative writer and editor who can write, teach, and speak from a sound, exclusively biblical perspective. Ability to communicate a biblical perspective consistent with GNBAC's theological framework. Ability to respond to constituent questions with a clear biblical perspective consistent with GNBAC’s theological framework. Proven experience in content strategy, editorial oversight, ideally within a ministry or faith-based context. Strong leadership and team-management skills, with experience supervising and developing creative staff. Confident public representative and strategic thinker, from vision to execution. An excellent command of the English language both in written and spoken form. Canadian citizen or permanent resident holding a Canadian SIN and able to legally work in Canada.
