Description The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our Fergus, Ontario manufacturing plant for 2 full-time CNC Panel Saw Operators to join our team! Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 2nd Shift, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday. Job Summary CNC Panel Saw Operator As a CNC Panel Saw Operator , you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. You will help to keep the rest of the machines downstream running. You will adhere to all safety and quality standards. This opening is for our CNC Panel Saw department. The operator will be required to train on and run other equipment as needed. Requirements Qualifications CNC Panel Saw Operator - Required: High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational, or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience. Experience with CNC saws or similar equipment. Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.). Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs. Preferred: Previous experience in a custom manufacturing environment. Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings. Work Environment CNC Panel Saw Operator This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
