You Will Conduct diagnostic procedures including EEG, EP, EMG, and NCS Obtain clinical neurological histories Educate patients and families about procedures Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated neurodiagnostic equipment Produce detailed technical reports Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams Collaborate with external health service providers Support teaching, education, research, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives Essential Qualifications Here's What You'll Need Registered Electroneurophysiology Technologist (R.E.T.) certification through CBRET Graduate of a CBRET-approved Electrophysiology program Minimum 1 year of clinical neurophysiology experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centred care Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment in stressful situations to meet patient care needs. Effective computer skills and can meet continuing education requirements. Understand importance and demonstrates ability to foster a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Requires R.E.T. certification through CBRET and graduation from a CBRET-approved Electrophysiology program. A minimum of one year of clinical neurophysiology experience is required.
